Carbine I

This course is designed for new rifle owners who are looking for basic instruction in the safe use and ownership of their firearm. Utilizing a variety of instructional techniques including guided discussion, video presentations, hands-on application and range drills, a student will thoroughly cover all aspects of safe carbine operation. This course is designed for someone with little to no experience with a rifle to learn how to comfortably load, unload and fire their carbine. After thoroughly covering firearms safety, transportation and storage during a lecture, the students will move into a phase of practical application with their rifle. During this portion of the class, instructors will guide the participants through the physical manipulation skills with their individual firearm. Once a shooter is comfortable with their carbine, we will move onto the range and apply the lessons in a safe, comfortable and clean setting.
